Well, hmmm....this is my first blog-so if it's rough or not up to par so to speak-Sorry!
Today has been a typical day so far. Except I had one of my many nursing "firsts" today. Here's the details-I had to send a home health patient to the ER yesterday. REALLY BAD SICK-almost dead to be matter of fact blunt-but the patient would not let me call ems for an extended amount of time. Anyways-here's my first: the patient's physician called her representative with our company to give me this message, "Thank you for taking such good care of this patient. You did great. Thank you."
That was my first for today. I just thank God that it wasn't too late for the patient. The first exciting adventure of many I'll be writing about. Stay tuned.
